Students Living Out Their Faith Through Service

Our seventh-grade students live out their faith throughout the year through service. Every Wednesday, these students make sandwiches for those in need in the metro area. Our parish delivers these meals weekly to the St. Joseph Rebuild Center in New Orleans.

The St. Joseph Rebuild Center is a place where those in need come for a meal, to take a shower, to get help with services such as housing and counseling, as well as a place to rest and have community. Several times throughout the year, our students deliver the sandwiches themselves and stay to serve the community. Some of our students pack the meals, some serve directly to the community, and others hand out blessing bags that they have created.

We are so incredibly proud of our students for living out their faith and truly being the hands and feet of Jesus.
